About Me – Sworn Arabic Translator & Interpreter
My name is Omar, and since 2002 I've worked as a sworn translator and interpreter of Arabic, appointed by the Chairman of the Regional Court in Košice (appointment no. 346/01). I'm listed in the register of experts, interpreters and translators kept by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic, in the Slovak–Arabic language pair, under translator registration number 970140 and interpreter registration number 950007.
Over more than two decades I've worked with the Migration Office of the Slovak Republic, the Foreign Police (UHCP), the UN, UNHCR, UNODC, IOM and NATO, as well as the embassies of Egypt, Saudi Arabia and Kuwait in Vienna. I regularly prepare materials for translation agencies such as Škrivánek, Asined, NTB and Akropolis, and work directly with courts and the Centre for Legal Aid.
My strength is broad legal, political, business and technical terminology — I show up prepared and professional, whether it's a court hearing, a business negotiation, or a sensitive personal document. I handle written translation and live interpreting, consecutive or simultaneous, equally well.

My appointment is listed in the public register of experts, interpreters and translators kept by the Ministry of Justice of the Slovak Republic, under translator registration number 970140 and interpreter registration number 950007. Appointment no. 346/01 was issued by the Chairman of the Regional Court in Košice on 19 March 2002.
Besides court and official documents, I regularly translate business contracts, technical documentation, and political or diplomatic correspondence — years of work with embassies and international organisations mean I'm comfortable with a wide range of specialised terminology.
I've worked full-time in Arabic sworn translation and interpreting for more than 24 years — it's my only profession, which is why I can respond to requests quickly, usually within 30 minutes on WhatsApp.
